The questions themselves are fine, but the branding and numbering can get repetitive. I don't understand the need to count all the questions asked. I really don't think that putting your name in a question makes it stand out more if it's a boring question. I'm not into that whole Internet as a means of self-promotion thing myself.

I do think that all the questions about the Ninja questions are getting to be repetitive/annoying as well.

I've told some people that I know from a wiki I work on -- not so much praise but a look at what kinds of questions made it or what kind of responses questions got. I think I mentioned it once to my Mom, more as a "this is one of the websites I use" type of thing.

Also, even if the people who ran Ask500 decided just to stick with English there are different versions of English with different spellings.

I still think you should be talking out these issues with people you know in real life instead of relying on answers from strangers on a polling site.

My TV habits changed the most after college when I began editing wikis after work. I found spending my time writing more fulfilling than sitting in front of the TV all night long.

I don't have kids, but I'd want them to be wherever they'd be happiest. I know people who have gone to the most prestigious schools and been miserable. Not being happy makes it harder to learn I think. Going to an ivy league can help you get a first job faster, but it doesn't ultimately predict how sucessful you'll be. One of my relatives who went to Northeastern was more successful at his job than his career counterparts who attended MIT.
