Anyone who EXPECTED him to bring much in the way of change at all isn't in very good touch with reality. He is a moderate Democrat. They are also pro-business, like all Republicans. So we still have a country that is controlled by and for the corporations.

That said, at least Democrats have read the Bible:

For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that plows should plow in hope; and that he that threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope." Corinhtians 9: 9-10.

Don't think this means Democrats think that we should be well rewarded for our labor. But they DO understand that removing all hope is a short term profit that ends in...well, ask the French.

Congress decided back in the quiz show scandals that rigging a quiz show was illegal, but no other kind of show was affected; and a recent decision concerning Fox, Monsanto, and the Florida Supreme Court makes it clear that news shows are not required to report news if they don't like the content.

This is indeed a place where lack of government regulation harms each and every one of us--just like the lack of financial regulation caused the mortgage crisis.
