I've never understood why this was such a difficult question. The egg came first. Anyone who understands biology and evolution knows this. There was a point at which an animal that was not technically a chicken hatched an egg that contained what was essentially an actual chicken.
I don't have _any_ children and I still have to pay taxes that contribute to schools and services for other people's children. So why shouldn't people with children also be required to contribute? Why, because their children aren't using the services, so they shouldn't have to pay taxes for it? Well, I don't have any children so I don't use those services either... so I shouldn't have to pay either.
