My Canadian friend may I enlighten you once again on the Chicago Way. The bailout money was not needed by all the banks but the sound ones were forced to take it so the ones that were in trouble would not look bad and have a run on them. So the smart banks took the money invested it and made healthy profits. Thats why they were eager to pay the money back to the treasury to get the government out of their business. Now here is where Chicago Rambo Rahm Emmanuel comes in Never fail to take advantage of a bad situation Rahm tells Obama hey we can use these big profits to our advantage. So he comes up with a plan to tax the big profits and bonus in the name of taxpayers. That makes it look like the Robin Hood deal steal from the rich and give to the poor but the poor never see it because the government will use it to spend on more earmarks and pork barrel projects to buy people in congress to vote for healthcare when we need more jobs. Thats The Chicago Way spend so you can tax more.
