Wind energy produces far less pollution then those alternatives and outages due to wind shortages are not a problem even when 1/3 of the energy is produced by wind.

Even solar prices, (the most costly option) have come down to a point that I can install my own system on my roof and go off the grid without any subsidies whatsoever and have my system paid for in about 12 years.

They are more concerned about sharing music, anonymous and wikileaks then child porn or credit card fraud.

You think DHS is bad, the NSA is monitoring WAY more then just social media, they routinely monitor phone calls, chats and private email, looking for keywords like "president" and "accident". The information they gather is sometimes shared with American owned business to give them an economic advantage.
