I just wanted to say that I don't buy greeting cards. I haven't for probably more than 10 years now. They are a pointless waste of money. People rarely look at them and then they just go straight into the trash.

I voted before I saw the comments. I said "not 10" because I thought, "I have 10 digits, but only 8 fingers b/c thumbs aren't fingers."

I bet the majority of people who vote "not 10" will vote that way b/c of the same thinking.

I think polite = friendly.

I've had both mice and snakes as pets. They aren't scary at all.

Spiders are harmless (in my area of the world).

I voted cockroaches, but really, they are just as misunderstood as the rest. Pretty interesting creatures if you take the time to look at them.

IMO, if you parent properly, you never, ever, will have a reason to hit your child. If you do find a reason to hit your child, it's probably your own fault.

And for the record, I am a mother.

It has nothing to do with electricity to me. I'm just too damn lazy to decorate. Same for the inside of the house too.

I completely agree. Once you are out in the "real world" you're going to have to collaborate and be a team player anyway. Might as well learn how to do that early.
